Kathy Zelazny is an estate planning and business attorney located in the Napa Valley whose practice areas include gift and estate tax planning, trust administration, probate, federal and state taxation, and sophisticated real estate and business transactions. Ms. Zelazny graduated from Duke University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts. In 1993, she earned her Juris Doctor from Duke University School of Law. She then attended New York University and was awarded a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) in Taxation in 1994.

Specializing in both basic and complex estate planning, Ms. Zelazny counsels clients in the preparation of wills, powers of attorney, revocable and irrevocable trusts, charitable and non-charitable gifting strategies and business succession planning. She advises clients with respect to a broad spectrum of probate and trust administration proceedings and issues, as well as real estate transactions and the formation, operation and reorganization of business entities. Ms. Zelazny represents a range of clients, from small family business owners to high net worth individuals.

With a strong commitment to community, and a focus on education and affordable health care in particular, Ms. Zelazny served on the boards of Blue Oak School in Napa, Summer Search and the Clinic Ole Community Health Foundation.
